Nothing occurs outside the will and purpose of God. If God wants something to happen, nothing can stop it.

One of the things that is awesome to witness on this earth is the power of God displayed in a world that doesn't believe He exists. When

you examine the lives of Ernie and Gail Mills and the history of the Durham Rescue Mission, God's power is obvious throughout. There

is no other explanation. From God planting a desire in Ernie more than 50 years ago to help the addicted beginning in a single house in

Durham, NC, to the Durham Rescue Mission campuses and the many other support facilities in the Raleigh-Durham area that stand today,
