It is Susan Sayers' firm belief that children are as much a part of the Church as adults; with Rocks children have their own Living Stones teaching programme based on the readings of the Common Worship Lectionary. Each week's teaching is closely linked to the ideas developed in adult worship but is tailor-made to stimulate the minds and imaginations of 6-10 year olds.

Starters, teaching ideas, prayer and activities are reinforced by worksheets for every Sunday drawn by Fred Chevalier. These may be reproduced without copyright infringement so long as they are used for non-commercial purposes. Each worksheet includes practical activities, puzzles, prayers and ideas through which children can explore their developing faith.
