How do you build a church where discipleship is more than a program, more than a class, and more than the responsibility of a few staff members? How do you cultivate a culture where every believer is growing as a disciple of Jesus and helping others do the same?

The Bible teaches that spiritual transformation is ultimately God's work. As we behold the glory of the Lord, we are "being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another" (2 Corinthians 3:18). Yet God ordinarily accomplishes this work through the means He has appointed: settings where His people regularly encounter His Word, depend on His Spirit, worship together, serve one another, and live on mission.

In The Disciple-Making Church, Jason Dees introduces nine biblical rhythms through which God ordinarily forms His people into mature disciples of Jesus. These rhythms provide a simple, comprehensive framework for personal spiritual growth while giving church leaders a practical strategy for building a disciple-making culture.

More than a discipleship program, The Disciple-Making Church offers a vision for an entire church. As these rhythms become embedded in the life of a congregation, discipleship moves from the margins to the center. Every member begins to understand their role: not only to grow in Christ but also to help others follow Him.

The principles in this book have shaped one of America's fastest-growing churches and have helped pastors and ministry leaders cultivate healthier, more intentional cultures of disciple making. Whether you lead a church plant, a historic congregation, or a growing ministry, The Disciple-Making Church will equip you to build a church where spiritual growth is expected, disciples make disciples, and the mission of Jesus becomes the shared calling of every believer.
