Sin feels good. That's exactly the problem.

Otha R. Edwards spent years chasing pleasure, running from God, and telling himself the lie that everyone tells: just this once won't matter. Then he lost someone he loved--and the search for happiness he'd been conducting in all the wrong places finally led him somewhere real.

Sin Makes Us Feel Good, But the Spiritual Journey Goes On is the raw, unfiltered result of that reckoning: a collection of spiritual poetry and reflection written not as polished sermon, but as confession. Across seven chapters, Edwards speaks candidly to young women being used and discarded, to men chasing conquest instead of character, to sinners who know exactly what they're doing and do it anyway, and to believers quietly exhausted by the weight of their own faith.

There's no judgment here--only a fellow traveler who has been in the wreckage and found his way to something steadier. With plainspoken honesty and scripture woven through every page, Edwards tackles jealousy, temptation, grief, guardian angels, spiritual warfare, and the stubborn, restless human hunger for a happiness that money, sex, and status can never quite deliver.

If you've ever felt the pull between what feels good and what you know is right--and suspected the tug-of-war might never fully end--these poems were written for you.

Come as you are. The journey continues either way.
