THY WILL BE DONE
You will notice in the Countdown, (which covers a period of about four months and then emphasizes the last two weeks, showing that there is an urgency and an agony) the Father's "timetable must be met" - and Jesus was initially unwilling to "drink of the cup of our sin" ... But during His great time of prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane, He relented to His Father's will.
Two things must transpire to initiate the death of Jesus - the Romans must have a cause against Jesus, and the powerful Sadducees must find a fault in Jesus to stir the people to distrust Him.
FINALLY, the Father's timetable is met!... PASSOVER to the FEAST OF PENTECOST... the greatest event in history - this event "reconciled" mankind to the Father God.
