The Lord is our ever present help in times of trouble. He is our refuge and truly it is under the shadow of His wings that we take refuge as we pray. The questions we must ask ourselves even though the answers seem obvious:

Do we truly seek healing out of trauma?

Do we want God to move in and through us to find purpose in the pain?

Do we trust Him enough to allow Him access to all areas, even deep within to ensure not just healing but to become whole?

Will we truly surrender all to Him, trusting that He knows the specific healing we need?

So many more questions that may be pressing and in need of answers. Perhaps, that is where we allow the Master Healer, the Great Physician and Lover of our souls to search the secret recesses of our heart's to uncover deep layers of pain and even hidden trauma. Trauma that maybe we thought was healed and yet isn't.

It is in the secret place of prayer and digging into God's unfailing Word that will penetrate even the hardest of hearts.

"For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

So, let's embark on a journey that only God can take us on, knowing what we uniquely need. Praise Him through process seeking to come out different, better and closer to Jesus than ever before.
