In a crazy, tumultuous world, how do we find true and lasting joy? How do we delight in the Lord, even when life doesn’t leave room for us to feel joyful?

Despair, dejected, depressed, bummed out, miserable, down—these feelings have become buzzwords in our world. But joy is a difficult word to define. Simply stated, joy is delight. Delight is a double-edged word, meaning to feel extreme joy and bring extreme joy to another. Scripture tells us to delight in the Lord, and amazingly, that He also delights in us.

While we may know this on the surface, it can be incredibly difficult to let the truth of delight and joy seep into our bones. Over the next 30 days, we will immerse ourselves in Scripture to see what God has to say about fighting our way out of depression into true and lasting joy—no matter what.
