I started sharing a few of these love letters with my friends, and they then passed them along to their friends. Over and over people would email me to say that a particular letter must have been written just for them. How did God know what was going on in their house that exact day? How did He know their inner fears?

I struggled with the fact that even though the messages are all a little different, they have much the same message. Every morning as I waited quietly for the words, I prayed that He would share something different than before. But the Lord deeply impressed me with several things:

1. At the beginning of every day, and in fact, all throughout the day, He wants us to focus on Him.

2. Our focus should be on how much He loves us, how close He is to us, and how He longs for us to ask for His help and for His constant presence in our lives.

These are the deepest needs of those He has chosen to reveal Himself to.

These letters offer a good base for discussions of God's love. Many people have told me that they have recommitted their lives to Christ after reading these, found great comfort during their losses and struggles and learned how real, how strong and how personal the Lord's love is for them.

What I have discovered from these messages, and from the response of others who have read them, is that our God is the most AWESOME, LOVING Heavenly Father. He is our Daddy, our Healer, our Holder and Hugger. His sacrifices for us were immense.

When I read these words from Him even today, a peace sweeps over me as the fear in my heart leaves.

Please come and read these pages with open hearts every morning, and learn to envision His real presence and love for you. It cries to the soul of every one of us, and it is real. He is real, and He wants you to know He is right beside you always, loving you in ways you could never be loved by anyone on earth.
