This volume offers two separate sequences of poems. The first tells the Gospel story from from the Annunciation to the Resurrection. The second sequence, "David's Song", is intended for children. Using forms and words and patterns which fall easily on the ears and eyes of children, the author has put together a group of poems which highlight the story of the shepherd King, his friendships and fights, his love of high places and his trust in the Lord.
