Unwanted Journey is a meditation on grief - invitation to walk with sorrow while holding fast to remembered joy. Judith Day writes with clarity and tenderness, offering companionship on a path where absence and presence intertwine. Each poem lingers in the spaces between memory and loss, reminding us that love does not end, even when life is forever changed. Paired with evocative nature paintings by Anders Shafer, these words become both mirror and solace, guiding the reader through the unsteady landscape of mourning with quiet strength and a gentle honoring of what remains.
