We are living in a period of almost perfect means, but with confused ends. The lack of planned and proper goals of life are so obvious that proof need not be offered. Parents need to know that children are gifts of God (Gen. 33:5; 48:9). God has charged parents with the responsibility of molding these gifts into a certain type of personality, suitable to Him (Eph. 6:4; Col.3:21). This book is planned in an effort to assist parents to that end. UNDERSTANDING is the main thesis of this work.
