The word purpose means the reason something exists or is done, made or used, an intended desired result. When God created man, He had a desire and that was for man to glorify His name. The best way to glorify His name is to be used for His purpose. It is important for everyone to know that God has a purpose for your life in spite of where you've come from or what you've gone through. God still wants to use you. Man has plans, but God has purpose. It's important to understand your purpose. God is the God of purpose. Everything in life has a purpose. Just because you don't know your purpose doesn't mean you don't have one. Your purpose resides in the mind of the maker, and since God is the maker of mankind, wouldn't He know more about what He created you to do? The church is the place where God will be in communion with His people. The church is the place God uses for His purpose and for you to find your place in God. That's why it's important for you to understand your purpose, so you can find your place in the kingdom.
