What began as a satirical take on recovery from a hysterectomy-where restrictions like "no driving for six weeks" felt absurd-soon turned into something much deeper. As Nola Stacey confronted emotional crashes and came face to face with her demons, she found herself compelled to write.

At the suggestion of a psychiatrist, Nola began documenting her early life, uncovering how past experiences shaped her reactions to anxiety, panic, and depression. In the process of putting her story in chronological order, a deeper truth emerged: from the very beginning, God had been holding her close.
