Thank you for taking the time to read my book. I pray that one of the poems written touched you or inspired you. All my poems are written from the heart. There may have been a situation in my life that I experienced, or someone I know experienced, and I just wrote what was in my heart to paper. Also, personal poems for special occasions or sympathy that were requested are written from the heart to paper. I love asking, listening, and hearing from the Holy Spirit on what to write.

Two of my favorite scriptures are Matthew 6:33:

But seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.

As a Christian, I always tell myself to put God first in everything I do. He has to get the glory out of everything.

The second scripture is 1 John 5:14:

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us.

Confidence is what we have to have in this Christian journey.

Always remember: you are somebody, and you mean something to somebody. Now be the best you can be because somebody needs what you have to say.
