Eddie and Annie Kat have always loved children, but early in their marriage they learned they could not conceive. So they chose to foster instead, and over the years more than forty children lived in their home. They went on to adopt two siblings from the same home, and later they began the process of adopting three others from another family.

Then, after nineteen years of marriage, they miraculously had their very own child. Two years later, the Lord opened Annie's womb once again and blessed the couple with their second daughter.

With the addition of their second baby girl, however, life in their household began to unravel. During this dark time, the Lord brought to light some of the evil that had been taking place in the Kat home without their knowledge.
