"Let marriage be held in honor by all, and let the marriage bed be kept pure; for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers." (Hebrews 13:4)

Marriage, as a divine institution, must be honored at all times and in all circumstances-first through faithfulness between spouses, and then through the sanctification of the marriage bed. Here, the marriage bed does not merely refer to a piece of furniture in the room, but to the intimate and faithful union between a man and a woman. From this, we may ask: how can such a bed be defiled? This occurs when one departs from the principles established by God for marriage and loses the respect due to the holiness of this union.

To honor marriage also means to sanctify its sources of income and to earn one's bread in sanctification. This bread then becomes blessed, carrying happiness and God's favor within the couple.
