Have you ever felt like no one understands what you're going through or what you've been through? Like no one can relate to your situation, so you would rather not speak on it?

Live in Your Truth, written by Ky-Mani Zaboor-Simmons, is a book based on different aspects of the author's life, falling under two genres: Christian nonfiction and realistic fiction. This book was written so that readers can have someone to relate to. The main idea of this book is to let people know that they aren't alone in this world-to help them understand that there may be thousands of other people facing similar situations-so that they will become bold enough to live in their own truths and confident enough to share their stories and say them out loud.

This book is rooted in real-life scenarios and experiences with the objective of introducing spiritual connections to those who believe they are not in reach. It is intended for motivational and inspirational purposes, aimed at readers who are on a journey to figuring out how to navigate through life. It is on a mission to put the gospel into the world in a way that even a small child would be able to grasp.

Overall, this book highlights the Word of God with the input of someone who is just trying to live a righteous life and honor God, making sure that He is glorified. It aspires to walk and live in purpose while inspiring others to do the same. It focuses on the Word of God and how to act on what He may be calling us to do in this life, making it known that life is short and uncertain, but during those times of uncertainty, we should keep in mind who our God is. It aims to bring a sense of clarity to people who may be feeling unsure in any way and to encourage them to be anything they desire to be.
