Years ago, I would not have been able to present these thoughts. I was 50, never married, and not even dating anyone. Honestly, over and over again, it was a wasted effort. I came away from dating relationships thinking it was just a drain of emotional energy and time. One man after another did not measure up and it did not appear that I would be successful at finding MY man.
