A Different Kind of Normal takes the reader on the author's journey of reflecting on her life growing up with a sister with special needs. It explores how the Gospel meets us in our hardest moments and how the mercy of the Lord can transform those moments into opportunities to witness His never ending love. Through addressing topics including parenting, grief, joy, trauma, and hope the reader is invited to reflect on how the Lord meets them in their hard moments as well. Our biggest challenges and greatest griefs serve to remind us that this life is not all there is and they mercifully point us to the only One who can redeem all our broken pieces.
