The STEPS course is designed to be facilitated in small groups over 9-10 weeks, and emphasizes immediate application of the principals being learned. This course follows a strategic model for local evangelism that has been taught and successfully implemented by Church Partnership Evangelism in dozens of different countries and different cultures around the world. CPE emphasizes that every believer is an intercessor. The culmination of our intercession on behalf of others is a particular kind of conversation where we listen and respond to a conversation that the Holy Spirit is already having with lost people. It is there that we invite them to meet the One who has interceded for them fully and finally on the cross.
