The Church matters - Jesus gave Himself for her. She is His bride. He will return one day for His people. And so it's really important that we understand what He wants His church to be. In a consumer-driven world, we can be lulled into believing that the local church should be moulded around our likes and preferences. But as we peer into the letters that Jesus wrote to seven Asian churches 1900 years ago, we realise that His instructions, challenges and encouragements are timeless.
