After accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we receive the Holy Spirit, who immediately begins the process of inner healing upon entering our lives. As it is written of Jesus: "the Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to heal the brokenhearted." After all, the kingdom of heaven is not merely about words; it is demonstrated and made manifest. Yet how can we truly experience it if we still carry inner wounds?
For the kingdom of heaven is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17). However, the Holy Spirit cannot operate fully in our lives if we live in sin, for there is no fellowship between light and darkness.
Therefore, sanctification is the key that unlocks divine healing.
