Robert C. Morgan is a retired newspaper journalist living on the Alabama Gulf Coast. Robert received a B.A. "with distinction" from the University of Mobile (Ala.), 1971; M.Div. from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Louisville, Ky.), 1975; M.S. from Troy (Ala.) University, 1981. He is a native of Alabama.

He has been married to Linda for 53 years, and they have three grown children and four grandchildren.
