In Luke 10:25-37, we find the parable best known as "The Good Samaritan." Most of us have read it personally or heard it told. We can all agree that stopping for someone in need is good. The question we need to ask ourselves is, "Do I practice this in my own life?"

There are times as we move through our busy day, when we feel God nudge us. We know He is guiding and encouraging us to go and do something which will interrupt our carefully laid plans. Often we ignore these promptings because we think we don't have time. Our own plans are more important. People are waiting on us, depending on us to respond.

How can we sincerely help those who are broken, suffering, downtrodden, or "unlovable," which is what the man in the Good Samaritan parable was thought of by others, if we do not love God? We must also love those we are led to, to demonstrate our love for God!
