"What is man that You are mindful of him? You made him a little lower than God and crowned him with glory and honor." (Psalm 8:4-5)

How great is God's love for man - a mere creature! From the very beginning of creation, this love has been evident: God entrusted him with a place of glory, honor, and responsibility within His handiwork. This love reaches its fullness in the redemption through Christ, when it is poured into the human heart by the Holy Spirit.

To grasp this truth is to understand that love is the cornerstone of sanctification. True obedience, wholehearted consecration, and a faithful walk with God all flow from a love that is deep, genuine, and steadfast.

To love God and to love one's neighbor - this is the foundation of every sanctified life.
