Jonah is an epic tale involving a man on a mission, a night in the belly of a
great fish, and a city on the brink of destruction. It is short and sweet, but
the man we meet in chapter 1 (who escapes a fish and rallies a violent city to repentance) ends the adventure pouting under a tree. It's an odd conclusion to a thrilling journey. But as we zoom in on the story, Jonah shows us a seeking God whose relentless pursuit of us is at the heart of who He is. God isn't just for "those people out there." He's for us too. (5 sessions)
