Dear beloved readers,

This is my personal research that does not depend on my social or cultural condition, but rather on my innate desire to know more, to go beyond myself towards the truth.

In this book, I wanted to tell the story of my conversion that, at the age of 40, brought me back to the university to try to understand scientifically, through the systematic study of theology, what could happen in a spirit trained and dedicated only to a corporate job in finance.

Therefore, this book is nothing less than a testimony, of more than 170 pages long, in which I write about the conversion of myself, a baptized person that yet knew nothing about her own faith.

As I explain in these pages, that conversion is not a wave of a magic wand that changes one's life from one day to the next, but rather it is a long path. However, it starts with an extraordinary trumpet blast that suddenly awakens your heart and mind from an old sleeping numbness.

This testimony winds between a strong awareness that was nourished day after day by knowledge, relating what happened in a heart which allowed itself to become available to the mystery, and what the mystery itself was able to illuminate to satisfy the desire to grow.

I hope that my testimony, can help those who are looking for the reasons for their existence.

I hope this book will help you on your path.

Best regards.
