Life draws out wonders of our world and of ourselves that shout for recognition yet we miss many of them and the ones we notice are not gazed at or thought out. We give up the insight or awareness and move on without gain, missing the good for our life. There are any number of ins and outs of daily life that could encourage our heart and mind and action, and this is doubly true of God. For God is the real insight of life and coming from him it means we are walking into the vast wonder of an eternal God who traces out all that is good while also warning of all the dangers. And here is our great loss as we notice so little of what God has done and is doing. But it is a loss that God can provide the bridge from our loss to a life full of hope and wonder. So the goal is to stop and consider what is going on about ourselves and what an eternal merciful sovereign Lord brings to our life if we drop our narrow focus and our materialistic instincts. The wonder of God's love will show our need for confession and redemption by God's Son, God the Son. Now we are off and running into all the layers of human action and thought with the perspective of the eternal!
