When using the term "the third wheel," many of our minds race to the unwanted person who tags along on a date; or the person who others feel pity for so they are allowed to accompany only due to compassion. To some, it may mean being the outcast: the outcast of a particular group, whether it be friends, family, sports team, class, or even a church. No matter the context, the term "the third wheel" does not have much positive association. What do you do when you feel like God has dealt you the wrong hand of cards? When your desires and expectations for yourself become so clouded by your feelings of outcast that it shifts the focus from what you do have to what you do not have?
