Once saved, we are endowed with the most honorary title of Christian. However, in receiving the title, we misunderstand that with it comes an expectation. The expectation that all our days we should strive to emulate Jesus Christ. The accomplishment of this lies in the renovation of our souls. We allow the Holy Spirit to serve as the foreman of this lifelong renovating project. As He communes with the Father, He alerts us to what needs a simple facelift or that part of our lives that needs gutted entirely. Our response is the ever-beginning renovation of our souls.
