When someone is diagnosed with cancer or another life-threatening illness, it is normal to experience feelings of heaviness and hopelessness. People often view a cancer diagnosis as a death sentence. While millions of people are living with cancer, conversations about cancer are primarily focused on prevention and outcomes versus the journey. How does one navigate the rugged, uncertain terrain of living with cancer? What do you do when your faith is shaken? This story describes my cancer journey and how God not only sustained me throughout my journey but surprised and delighted me along the way.
