The Prophet is a symbol of religion, and a person's belief, as he embodies humanity on a journey with God, suggesting that one 'answer' to evil in the world is belief, as the Prophet reveals the values of God to humanity.

The Philosopher is symbolic of thought, and, as one of the 'answers' to evil in our world , he will entertain the idea of human morality, to lead humanity to a modern, progressive way of thought.

The General represents the need for action in order to conquer the world, he stands as an authority figure of great power, upholding morality during war. The 'answer' he represents is the need for forceful action, and that, we must fight for freedom.
