Dr. Mac Pier is the founder of Movement.org, and cofounded Movement Day with Tim Keller. He's served with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, co-founded Concerts of Prayer and the Church Multiplication Alliance, and served the Lausanne Movement as Co-Catalyst for Cities. Mac earned his doctorate from Palmer Theological Seminary. He has authored/co-authored 10 books including A Disruptive Gospel, A Disruptive Generosity, and A Disruptive God. Mac and his wife Marya have lived in New York City for 40 years, and have three married children and six grandchildren.

Marya Pier is a former registered nurse and nurse practitioner, retired after 33 years of nursing in New York City where she has lived with her husband, Mac, for 40 years. She's mother to three married children and grandmother to six. She's a Bible Study Fellowship leader and has an Emmaus Certificate in Formational Leadership from Leadership Transformation, Inc.
