Grace In the Shadows is a deeply personal poetic narrative that tells the story of my difficult journey involving my mother, grandmother, and the traumatic experiences my children faced during a brief period of temporary custody with my mother.

In the face of betrayal, rejection, abandonment, and abuse, and profound emotional distress, ultimately discovered healing through faith, forgiveness, and resilience. I reflect on the significance of releasing anger and embracing grace amidst the shadows cast by these experiences.

This narrative highlights the pivotal role that my spiritual growth, sustained by God's grace and mercy, as well as my artistic expression, in my ongoing journey of healing, recovery, and acceptance.
