'Clive has a wonderful and unique form of writing. These short chapters are quite profound. Many of us are already familiar with the Bible stories he refers to but as we read each chapter of Clive's book our eyes and spirits are opened to see the story freshly and with new understandings. Clive, very simply, yet graphically gives us the background, the thinking and the feeling of the characters un each of the stories. In a very easy to read style Clive teaches complex theology in a very devotional manner because He understands God. God is love and Clive opens our hearts to encounter that love and then share it with others.

This book would be a great book, for personal devotion, for new Christians, for those interested in understanding the Bible more. I am sure you will enjoy these short readings immensely but also have your faith expanded and be challenged by fresh insights and understanding of the love of God.'
