In 1980, I experienced a life-altering accident in a professional kitchen and had no idea how I was going to get through this major loss. The fact that I was a woman made it particularly difficult. I died for an unknown amount of time just before surgery, and I saw a glimpse of Heaven and met God. I spent the next years searching for understanding every way but God's way. During this time, I faced many more intense, traumatic experiences before coming to God. I felt the need to share my journey in hopes of helping others overcome obstacles and find Jesus.
