What is so important about the marketplace? The church, as we know it today, is losing its relevance. Less than 20 percent of the population in the United States attends church regularly. By

2050, church attendance is projected to drop to 11.7 percent. On the other hand, 85 percent of Christians' waking hours are spent in the marketplace, and almost all non-Christians are in

the marketplace.1 Indeed, there is an army of born-again believers that is currently traversing through the marketplace who need to be awakened to their God-ordained dominion in the earth. Like me, some are apprehensive and sometimes timid in their approach to the marketplace. Others are having to dumb down their creative and innovative instinct to fit into a culture that is often intimidated by them. They need to be empowered with the wisdom and knowledge that only comes from God to make the qualitative difference in the world they are called to occupy.
