What is a Christian to believe? Who are we to trust? How are we to respond? Where do we go to for answers about anything? The Scripture says, "Render unto Caesar, the things which are Caesar's and unto God, the things that are God's " Sounds easy enough but is it? The question is how does a true practicing Christian maneuver through the secular mind field and political hyperbole without losing that which is most important to God in the process. Yes, we have opinions. Yes, we have an ideology. Yes, we do not have milk toast personalities to be bashed about. However, we must always remember whom we represent and our ministry goal. Our first and foremost set of goals is to be an effective witness, winning souls and be a discipler. If we lose track of that we lose face within the secular world and we lose God's honor and glory before them too.
