Lakisha Young experienced abandonment, neglect and feelings of not being loved starting at a very young age. She continued to have these experiences throughout most of her adult life. All Lakisha wanted was to be in a relationship and feel loved. Trying to find true love, she traveled down a pathway that led from one bad relationship to another. All of those failed relationships, including the relationships with her family, led her to the feeling broken and unloved.
