A hillside collapsed on my family's home the night I was born.

My father carried my pregnant mother into the rain seconds before the landslide buried everything. On the sidewalk-broke, homeless, and hungry-her water broke. I drew my first breath in flood and ruin.

Every storm since has been an assignment. The poverty. The depression. The standing at edges where most men jump. I didn't jump. I climbed. Through the wreckage, I built companies, became a millionaire, worked with Monster Energy, the UFC, WWE. Not despite the storms-because of them.

But external success never fixed the internal fracture. So I went looking.
