Choices is about those decisions, many instantaneous, that drive a life. HARPER JAMES, made two: to be a teacher, and to preach the value of the individual. Those choices find him a beloved, highly respected teacher, guiding his students away from the ethnic and racial hate being preached all around them.

Unfortunately, it also gets him killed. Harper's life and character are then revealed through a flashback of the adventures and choices made by his students.
