In Luke 2:46, we see twelve-year-old Jesus in the temple, sitting, listening, and asking questions. Later, in Luke 24:13-35, we see the risen Jesus walking with two disheartened disciples, asking them what they have been talking about and listening patiently while they pour out their hearts. Only then does Jesus begin to share the Good News. Our current cultural environments of tweets, opinions, and hot takes has contributed to increasing division in relationships.
