To the weary Christian who longs for rest, Jesus said, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" - Matthew 11:28. Some may feel that such promises from God are for the super-spiritual and out of reach for the common man in the 21st century. This is the era of technological progress, and amid the chaos, it seems that the teachings of the Man of Galilee are far removed from the struggles of life that surround us.

To you, my friend, I ask kindly, are you willing to step out by faith, not by human reasoning, and see how Jesus can meet that need? The Scripture clearly states with this open invitation: "whosoever will may come and drink of the water of life freely" (Revelation 22:17), and I wholeheartedly invite you to come, drink, and be filled.
