Contrary to popular belief, God does want His children to prosper. The Bible clearly states that Jesus redeemed us from the curse of the law and connected us to the blessing of Abraham (see Galatians 3). However, God is not going to drop millions of dollars into our laps while we sit back and do nothing!

Although we are blessed the moment we are born again, we still have a role to play in the natural. When we work in the natural realm empowered by the blessing, everything changes.
