Many believers desire increase, yet few understand the sacred process that often comes before it.

Scripture makes it clear that God is not opposed to wealth, provision, or abundance. What He is deeply concerned about is the condition of the heart that will carry those things. Before God enlarges a person's hands, He carefully examines their motives, their obedience, and their dependence on Him.

The Bible reveals that God intentionally leads His people through seasons of testing, limitation, and waiting "not to punish them, but to prepare them. The wilderness was not a mistake in Israels journey; it was a classroom. It was there that God humbled them, taught them reliance, and revealed what was already within their hearts before they entered a land of abundance.

Jesus later reinforced this divine order when He said: Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto yo

This statement settles the priority of wealth in the life of a believer. Provision is not pursued directly "it is added when the kingdom comes first. God never intended money to be the focus; He intended it to be the result of right alignment

Yet Scripture also acknowledges the practical role money plays in the earth. Ecclesiastes tells us that money answers many things. This does not elevate money to a position of authority over God, nor does it give it power over the soul. It simply acknowledges that money has function within earthly systems. Before the blessing comes the preparation. Before the increase comes the testing. And before God releases wealth into our hands, He first establishes truth, humility, and faithfulness within our hearts.
