Most people spend the majority of their waking hours engaged in making a living. If you own or manage a business, those hours can be further weighted by anxiety and stress. As Christians, how do we reconcile the many hours and the emotions with our walk of faith? Do you suppose God placed Moses in charge of Jethro's sheep in order to produce the largest, highest quality, most efficiently run flock in the region, or was there a greater purpose?
I realized that I have been studying and teaching scripture for over 30 years and I had no concrete answers. I needed to know how God viewed our business and all the hours and effort that was being poured into it. It was not a mission to feel good about myself or to validate what I already believed to be true.
This book is my journey through scripture to find honest answers and although it may not be exactly what I thought I would find, it was a blessing to me. I hope it does the same for you.
