This book began as a series of semi-monthly columns for a friend's webpage. He has graciously allowed me to publish them here for you.

Although the book is broken down into four seasons (and yes, I know they're not the ACTUAL seasons, but they make sense to me), feel free to read them in any order you choose. If you need a dash of winter in the middle of July, go for it! Can't wait for Spring? Skip ahead! Take notes, draw pictures, whatever makes this book meaningful to you.
