Based on a true story, Avril's Story is about a girl who opens herself to love, but faces rejection, abandonment, various disappointments, emotional, physical and mental abuse, betrayal and subsequently divorce which left her as a single parent in dept, dealing with her shame, insecurity and personalized pain.
