What if my dad hadn't died? What if my mom didn't get cancer? What if I had stayed? What if I had walked out? What if the razor had been sharp enough? I cannot change all the loss I have experienced, but I can process my grief and accept a new vision of my future. I am a child of God. I am meant to shine. If I can ask for help and I can get well, then maybe it will give others permission to do so also.I know now you must care for your spirit and mind as you care for your body. If you broke your leg, you wouldn't say, "Oh it's all in your leg; shake it off." So, don't say, "It's all in your head; shake it off."

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go" (Joshua 1:9).
