Life was happening under the guise of normalcy until the unexpected interrupted. In the early morning hours on September 3, 2021, Judy Foust suffered a debilitating stroke that turned her and her husband Eric's world upside down and inside out. Everything they had known came to an abrupt halt. For the next 16 months, Judy and Eric fought to reframe their lives with the agonizing new reality of Judy's sudden and extreme physical deficits.

Through hospital stays, neuro-rehab facilities, countless therapy sessions, numerous tests, scans, and procedures, through occasional small victories and more frequent, discouraging setbacks, Judy held onto and exhibited living hope in the most trying of circumstances.
